UB wins one of the prizes in the RUB's 5x5000 e-learning competition

A student jury has awarded the concept “Escape from data chaos – structured data management for students” in the “5x5000” competition organized by the RUB's Centre for Teaching and Learning. The University Library's Research Data Management (RDM) team plans to use the €5,000 prize money to set up an interdisciplinary Moodle course on (research) data management for students and lecturers.

The course will teach students the basics, importance, and benefits of data management. It will help them to efficiently structure, organize, and manage the data they work with in their term papers and theses. In addition, lecturers from various disciplines will have the opportunity to integrate the course into their teaching.

Tuba Güden-Silber, Elena Schick and their colleagues from the Research Data Services team (RDS) at RUB are delighted about the recognition and welcome inquiries from interested RUB members at researchdata@rub.de.
