Photo and filming permissions

We would be very pleased if you would like to take photos and film recordings for non-commercial purposes in the building of the University Library! To discuss the details, please contact Ms. Strotmann for permission to record.

Recordings of other parts of the campus are supervised by the Ruhr University Communications Department. You can apply for permission here.

Please note that the glowing letters on the front and back of Bochum University Library are a work of art. The artist who created it, Mischa Kuball, has his rights to this work represented by vg Bild-Kunst. Requests for permission to photograph this work of art should therefore be addressed to this organization. We request that information regarding these recordings also be brought to the attention of Ms. Strotmann.

Publications

Bochum University Library not only hosts and supports a large number of different open access RUB publications on its OMP and OJS instances, as well as on the Ruhr University document repository. Our employees also participate in scientific and collegial exchange. The topics are as diverse as the members of our institution.
