Data Protection Information
To ensure the processing of acquisition requests, the following personal data of users will be transmitted and stored when submitting the form:

  • Required information: Last name, first name, email address, and the title details of the requested book
  • Optional information: Comments, RUB LoginID (only if a reservation for the suggested book is requested), as well as correspondence with the user (only in the case of follow-up questions)
  • Automatic data processing: In addition to the information listed above, timestamps (date and time) of book suggestions and user communication are automatically stored to ensure compliance with our data retention period.

No data will be shared with third parties. The data will only be made available to persons responsible for processing acquisition requests and will be used exclusively for this purpose.

Purpose of data processing and legal grounds: The processing of personal data solely serves the purposes of enabling contact with users and preventing misuse of the form. The legal grounds for processing are Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.

Data retention period: Stored user-related data will be deleted 14 days after an acquisition request has been fully processed.
