Studying medicine: From AMBOSS directly to the full text
Since last year, there has been a direct link from AMBOSS to the ZB MED search portal LIVIVO. This gives users registered with ZBMed quick and often free access to relevant specialist literature in full text, including full texts that may not be licensed by RUB.
By clicking on the link “Open in LIVIVO by ZB MED”, users of the AMBOSS knowledge platform will in future be taken directly to the original scientific sources in full text that are referenced in the AMBOSS program. Coverage is over 90 percent, with around 80 percent of the books available in full text at ZB MED. Approximately 67 percent of the journal articles are already licensed for ZB MED remote access, meaning that users can access them free of charge.
Requirements:
1. Registration for ZB MED remote access and residence in Germany
2. Activation of personal access to the Bochum AMBOSS campus license
