Renovation of the electrical distribution systems in the University Library
The electrical distribution systems in the University Library are scheduled to be renovated starting August 31, 2026. A project plan has been drawn up for this work, which will span a total of 13 weeks. Unfortunately, this project cannot be carried out without restricting access to the library. We deeply regret this! The BLB (Construction and Real Estate Management NRW) and the service providers involved are working diligently to limit the disruptions to the absolute minimum.
Work will begin on the 3rd floor:
- Areas 3/2 and 3/3 will be affected there.
- For 13 weeks, there will be no power at the workstation outlets.
- Reduced lighting in these areas is to be expected.
- There may also be sporadic network outages.
We will post updates on the work via notices on the floors. Please take note of these!
