New offer for learning in a team

The demand for group work in the University Library continues to be very high. The University Library has therefore converted three more former offices into group study rooms for students. Two new rooms, each for a study group of up to 8 people, are located on level 5 and can be seen from the central staircase through the glass doors. The new group room across from the Writing Café on Level 0 has three group areas, two of which have wall-mounted monitors. One work area is equipped with height-adjustable desks and is particularly accessible due to its location on the first floor.

Including the ThinkTanks, the University Library now has 18 group study rooms of various sizes with a total of 25 workstations for teamwork and participation in digital learning and teaching formats. 12 group study rooms are equipped with wall-mounted monitors, three with fixed video conferencing systems. A flexible Meeting Owl can be borrowed from the Information Desk for video conferencing.

The group work rooms are primarily available to RUB members and can be booked with the RUB LoginID. If a room is not booked and free (please ask at the Information Desk), it can also be used by other user groups.
