Digital Humanities Day #6 on September 30 and October 1, 2024

Digital Humanities Day #6 will take place at Ruhr University Bochum from September 30 to October 1, 2024. The two-day conference promotes the exchange of Bochum's humanities scholars in the DH and gives interested people the opportunity to make their digital research projects visible. This year the focus is on “Collaboration and Networking in the DH”.

Participation in the DH Day events is free of charge. No registration is required for participation in the events on 30.9. Our program tips for day 1:

  • Online-Keynote „Do it yourself (but not alone) and KISS!“, Dr. Till Grallert (NFDI4Memory, Methods Innovation Lab, HU Berlin)
  • Posterslam & Poster Session in the DH Space and room 0/03 of the library.

Registration is required for the online workshops on 1.10.:

  • Introduction to Recogito Studio. A platform for collaborative annotation of texts and images. With Rainer Simon, software developer of Recogito Studio (registration)
  • Practical report: Working with VocBench & Skosmos. With Frederik Elwert, Henning Gebhard and Makar Fedorov (registration)
