The University Library has a new deputy director
Dr. Lukas Lerche is the new Deputy Director and Head of the User and Information Services Division at Bochum University Library (UB).
Lukas Lerche will play a central role in the further development of the UB's customer-oriented services and digital innovations, contributing his librarian competence and expertise in the field of electronic user services and the automation of library processes.
"With a passion for digital innovation, I look forward to working with the UB team to further develop customer-oriented services and strengthen the library as a competent partner for research, teaching, studies and administration."

In addition, Lukas Lerche will support the strategic and operational orientation of the University Library as an important partner for research, teaching, studies and administration at the center of the Ruhr University Bochum campus. He will support projects that link the digital services of the University Library with other institutions on campus and beyond in order to promote an integrative and cooperative learning and research environment. Lukas Lerche is also available as a contact person for the Department of Economics.
