Online Event “Generative AI for Beginners: 45 Minutes of Basics (online)”

This coming Friday on July 17, an informative online event on generative AI (GenAI) will take place from 12.45 to 1.30 pm. The event offers an introductory overview of the topic and is aimed at anyone interested, regardless of prior knowledge. However, some prior experience with tools like ChatGPT may be helpful.

The event will be held via Zoom and offers a concise introduction to the world of generative AI. Over the course of 45 minutes, participants will be introduced to the basics of the topic and given an overview of various aspects of generative AI.

The event will cover the following topics:

  • What is GenKI and how does it work?
  • What tools are available?
  • Can AI help with literature reviews?
  • Prompts—but how?
  • Strengths and weaknesses
  • Legal considerations
  • Recommended websites
