Responsible research and publishing: Focus on data management & open access
Our colleagues from the University Library are offering two interesting lectures on July 10, 2025 as part of the @researchschool Science College: In the age of open science, AI and interdisciplinary collaboration, researchers are facing new challenges - and opportunities!
Two interactive events offer practical insights into key aspects of responsible science:
- Responsible Data Management: What is research data and how can it be handled in an ethical, transparent and legally compliant manner? Case studies are used to discuss the requirements of funding bodies, reusability and best practices.
- Responsible Open Access Publishing: How is Open Access changing the publishing culture? What responsibilities do researchers have and how do you find the right publication medium? Topics such as quality assurance, costs, funding opportunities and legal aspects are the focus.
Take the opportunity to exchange ideas with experts and colleagues and expand your own knowledge!
