This was the Assembly for Diversity and Democracy on July 9
On Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at 12 noon, we flew the flag together in front of GA under the motto “Diversity is our Strength.”
The Rectorate of Ruhr-Universität Bochum had already made a clear statement in the run-up to the rally on the politically motivated break-ins, right-wing extremist graffiti and intimidation attempts. All members of Ruhr-Universität Bochum were called upon to gather in front of the GA.
Under the motto “Diversity is our Strength”, the Rectorate addressed the campus to send a visible signal: For cohesion and an open society - and against hatred, agitation and exclusion. Read more on the RUB news portal.
