June 23: Bochum University Library @ Bochum Digital Week 2026
Digital Week will take place for the first time in Bochum from 22 to 26 June.
Together with numerous partners, the City of Bochum’s Smart City Innovation Unit, the Bochum Adult Education Center, and the Bochum Public Library are offering a diverse program. Through workshops, hands-on activities, lectures, and counseling services, citizens are invited to learn about and try out digital technologies, and to engage in discussions about the opportunities and challenges of digitalization.
The University Library is also participating: People can learn how to use the knowledge management application “Obsidian” to structure and link notes and integrate them into a personal knowledge network.
The occasion for Digital Week in Bochum is the nationwide Digital Day, which this year focuses on the topic of “Digital Security.” Together with numerous partners, the City of Bochum is offering a diverse program for different age groups and interests at various locations throughout the city.
