The library of the Research Center for Classical German Philosophy / Hegel Archive contains Hegel's own works and the literature he consulted as well as the works of Hegel's students and the international research literature on Hegel.
The reference library is open to visiting academics from Germany and abroad, as well as to all members of the Ruhr-Universität.
To search the library's holdings, please use the RUB Primo catalog of the Ruhr-Universität Bochum libraries. To narrow down your search, select "Hegel-Archiv (Overbergstr. 17)" from the hit list on the left-hand side under "Library".
The library of the Research Center for Classical German Philosophy / Hegel Archive at the Ruhr University can be reached easily and quickly by car via the dense highway network of the Ruhr area. The quickest route is via the Bochum/Witten interchange (A43 and A44). From the A43, take exit 19 ("Bochum-Querenburg") and then take the "Ruhr-Universität Ost" exit on the Universitätsstraße. The destination address for the navigation device is "Overbergstr. 17".

Deutsche Bahn's ICE, IC, EC, regional trains and S-Bahn trains serve Bochum main station with high frequency. From there, the library of Research Center for Classical German Philosophy / Hegel Archive can be easily reached with the subway U35 (Campus line, direction "Bochum Hustadt") (stop "Lennershof", one stop after "Ruhr-Universität"). The U35 runs every 5 minutes on weekdays and takes 10 minutes from the main train station to the university.
