Scan service of the RUB libraries during the Corona pandemic


To ensure access to the RUB libraries' holdings and thus enable a smooth continuation of teaching and research we offer the following services solely for members of the RUB:




 

Scan service for printed material for all members of the RUB

You need literature from the holdings of one of the participating libraries?

  • The following libraries offer this service:
    Departmental Library East Asian Studies, Departmental Library Hegel Archive, Departmental Library Medicine
  • Each library card number/student identity card number is entitled to 3 orders a week via the linked form.
  • Your LoginID is required to access the order form.
  • You can order complete journal articles as well as up to 10% from a book (according to copyright law: UrhG, § 60e, Abs. 5). Repeated orders from the same book adding up to more than 10% are a breach of copyright and therefore inadmissible.
  • The requested scan will be uploaded to Sciebo. You will receive a link with which you can download the requested literature.

Scan service for printed material for lecturers, scientists and doctoral candidates

You are a lecturer and need literature from the holdings of the participating libraries for your online courses or want to create a virtual course collection? You are scientist/doctoral candidate and need literature for your research project?

  • You can order complete journal articles as well as up to 15% from a book (according to copyright law: UrhG, § 60a, Abs. 1).
  • The requested scans will be uploaded to Sciebo. You will receive a link with which you can download the requested literature.

Virtual-walk-in service for e-resources

The RUB network is overloaded or you are having problems installing the VPN tunnel and need an e-book (or just a chapter of it) or a journal article from an e-journal urgently?

  • Order the desired journal article or book chapter / the desired e-book via our order form.
    (Orders for printed material will not be accepted here. They will be deleted without notification.)
  • Your LoginID is required to access the order form.
  • The requested literature will be uploaded to Sciebo. You will receive a link with which you can download it.
