Check-list for the submission of a dissertation in electronic form
Condition:
Electronic publication is permitted by the doctorate regulations of your faculty.
Please clarify in advance the number of CD-ROM's to be submitted and if applicable also of the printed version.
File requirements:
- 1 PDF-file of the dissertation without password protection (max.size of file 50 MB)
- abstract in G e r m a n (file with max. 1000 characters incl. blanks in doc- or txt-format), other languages possible in addition

Presentation and arrangement
- submission of the files on a CD-ROM in an ordinary hard plastic cover
- labelling of the inserted cover with details as shown below:
- Author and title
- Faculty
- Names of examiners
- Date of oral examination
- labelling of the CD-ROM:
- Author and title
- Faculty
- Date of oral examination
Required meta-data:
- signed declaration of the postgraduate
- at least 5 German subject headings
Optional meta-data:
Condition for the publication of the optional metadata is written permission for e-publication.
